Joe Biden and the power of Persistence
At age 77 Joe Biden decides (again) that will like to run for president. At age 77?
What he was thinking?
Running for president must be one of the most stressful activities a person can engage in.
Running for president takes two years, Yes 2 years!!!.
First you need to get to Iowa, after that New Hampshire is voting, then the candidates must make hay in South Carolina and Nevada while also preparing for Super Tuesday and on and on. Taking a break only damages your chances. It’s the world’s longest, highest-stakes ironman triathlon. Hillary Clinton who run twice, said it is brutal.
That’s why, long ago, the political operatives who worked on the campaigns of John, Robert, and Edward Kennedy would check themselves into a hospital on the day after election day.
It is extremely difficult task, But Biden already know that.
This is not is first time.
Biden has run for president two times previously to his 2020 campaign.
Biden’s first attempt at a presidency was in 1988, a campaign that ended after a speech plagiarism scandal.
His second attempt was in 2008, he dropped out and was later named the vice presidential candidate for former President Barack Obama.
Therefore, you may think, that is now time for Biden to rest; to maybe retire after a long and very successful career as a politician. Well think again, Biden is all about Persistence
Biden was the favorite to win the nomination, but then the reality hit him
He lost Iowa, he lost in New Hampshire, and he lost in Nevada. Bernie Sanders was looking strong, he has the momentum, he has the funds, and he is on the way to win it all.
But Biden, is again show us what Persistence is all about “You put me in a position — you know, the press is ready to declare people dead quickly, but we’re alive and we’re coming back and we’re going to win,”
Biden did comeback to Win, and then there is Trump. A man who know how to fight, and a President, that will do anything to win.
President Trump was “going to eat him alive” declare Podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan, and said what many believe to be true. He is old, he is slow. Trump will win big in the debates.
However, we will know now how it’s all end. Joseph R. Biden Jr. was elected the 46th president of the United States
What was is secret? Maybe only one word — Persistence
